Landsteymi

The Centre for Education and School Services operate a support and advisory team, Landsteymi, whose role is to support children, parents, and staff at all school levels who require additional support in the school environment.

Landsteymi's Procedures

  1. A case is referred to the team and an advisor is assigned to it.
  2. The advisor gathers information about what has been done, maps out priorities, and determines the next steps.
  3. Based on this mapping, a decision is made as to whether the case will be processed by Landsteymi. If not, guidance is provided on where else to seek assistance.
  4. During the case processing, advice is provided on an ongoing basis. The aim is for Landsteymi to step aside once cases are on track and further processing is handled by, for example, a case manager or a well-being liaison.
